What come in like a lion and goes out like a lamb?
Often it is natural life itself that roars its way onto the stage of life, and then after a sojourn quietly slips into eternity.
Yet just as the month of March doesn’t always follow the course intimated by its tagline, neither does life always follow a path unaffected by myriad circumstances that alter the straight line of loud roar to quite demise. While we cannot affect whatever may be nature’s course for the month of March, there is much we can do about the course of our lives, about our sojourn here on earth, about keeping our roar alive and vibrant, about making it meaningful and effective for as long as we can.
It is my prayer that each of us works to ensure that as March comes to an end, it passes leaving us ready to eagerly embrace the warmth and sun-drenched days of life’s Springtimes before us.
