Shabbat morning is the best time for Jews to come together, and the WORST time to feel out of place in synagogue.
Join ACI once a month for a no-experience-necessary Shabbat service, where we will explore the:
Don't know Hebrew? No problem! Skeptical about religion? We'd love to have you!
Haven't gone to synagogue since your Bar/Bat Mitzvah? You're perfect!
Join us from 10:30 am until noon for Open Door Shabbat on July 13. At 10:00, there will be a brief meditation service, and at 10:30 we will start the learning service.

Join the us for a family-friendly Friday night service in Astoria Park, along Shore Boulevard at the War Memorial, at 6pm. End the week with some Shabbat songs, a story for children, and a summer treat. Summer attire is encouraged.

What: "Heschel's Passover Eve"
A one-man show that imagines Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel preparing for his Passover Seder that includes a look at his life, rabbinate, and activism, including his close work with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
When: Tuesday July 16 at 7PM
The play is just under an hour and will be followed by a reception and schmoozing after the show.
