ACI offers a Shabbat morning youth program geared towards students who are already registered for our Tuesday afternoon classes. This supplemental program is intended to further build community among our youth in a fun and engaging manner using music, art, games, and movement. The program also introduces children to Shabbat songs, some key morning prayers, and the importance of gemilat chesed, bestowing kindness to others. After dropping off their children, parents are welcome to join the congregation for services in the main sanctuary.
At the end of both Shabbat morning programs, teachers and students will join the congregation in the main sanctuary for the conclusion of the service. Kiddush will follow.
Please contact us at [email protected] with any questions.
Our Junior Congregation program will be held on the first Shabbat of every month and will be led by Morah Audrey Honig, a Rabbinical student at HUC. We encourage all Hebrew school students to participate in this once-a-month program designed to familiarize our children with Shabbat morning songs, liturgy, and the meaning and purpose of prayer. The first session will be held on October 7th.
