Shana Fruchter
Education Director

Morah Shana has 16 years of Hebrew school experience. She has taught students from Pre-K through 6th grade. She has taught in Roslyn, Upper East Side, Upstate New York , Forest Hills, and Plainview. Shana enjoys teaching Hebrew , writing, reading, prayers, holidays, and Jewish culture. Learning is one of the most important Jewish Values and she is very passionate in sharing her knowledge with her students in a fun, creative, and engaging way. Shana is also a music therapist and uses music to help students develop and increase the skills they are working on. She loves to bring music into hebrew schools as well! During her free time, she loves to travel, cook, and spend time with her family.

Esther Finzi

Morah Esther has over 13 years of teaching experience in a variety of Hebrew schools, has been teaching part time at the Kaplan School at Sutton Place Synagogue since 2014, has experience working with students with IEPs, works as a private tutor, and is a native speaker.

Audrey Honig

Audrey is a rabbinical student at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. She grew up near Chicago, and she had the opportunity to study in Jerusalem for two years. Audrey developed a passion for Jewish summer camp from her years as a camper, counselor, and unit head at URJ Camp OSRUI. She loves to learn and teach about Jewish tradition.
