Dear ACI Community,

As part of our centennial year, this year we’ll have more ways for you to participate in Sukkot than ever before. We hope you’ll be able to come out, participate in the Mitzvah, and celebrate with us.

All events are open to Members and Non-Members. No tickets or donations are required. If you’d like to support our Sukkot programming, consider making a donation here.

If you have any questions about Sukkot Programming, please reach out to [email protected].

Accessing our Sukkah

Please note that to access our Sukkah from the street, you’ll have to do 3 steps up and down to access our backyard, and then three additional steps down to the Sukkah.

To access our Sukkah from the building, you’ll make your way to the back of the Sanctuary, with a step down to our fire exit and then three steps back to the Sukkah.

Stroller parking will be available inside the building.

If you have questions about accessibility of the Sukkah, please email [email protected].

We also recommend you bring some bug spray when making your way to the Sukkah — just in case.

Sunday, October 5

2PM – 4PM

Adults & Teens: Help us build our Sukkah! You’ll be working under the direction of Ari Gershon to assemble and decorate our Sukkah.

Hebrew School Children: Join us in the lobby to create decorations to go in our Sukkah, led by Joanna Muenz.

Monday, October 6

6PM – 8PM

Join Rabbi Josh in the Sukkah for the first night of Sukkot. Bring a snack, or a beverage (or something stronger to make L’Chaim!) and celebrate the first night with the ACI Community. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Friday, October 10

6PM – 8PM

Join the ACI Community in the Sukkah for a Shabbat Dinner Potluck! While no contribution is required to attend, we encourage all to bring a Dairy or Pareve item to share. We’ll have dinner followed by a quick service led by Rabbi Josh.

Sign up to bring a Dairy or Pareve item here.

Saturday, October 11

You will not want to miss this! Join us for Kiddush in the Sukkah following Shabbat Services and enjoy some of Rabbi Josh’s famous Cholent as a special treat. Please feel free to bring a Pareve item to share in the Sukkah for Kiddush. Rabbi Josh will be preparing cholent at ACI overnight for a hot Shabbat lunch.

No dairy items for Kiddush, please!
