Spend Shabbat with fellow Jews across Western Queens! The Astoria Center of Israel’s Shabbat Meal Swap is a wonderful opportunity to open your home to new guests – or to experience Shabbat dinner in someone else’s home.
Whether you’d like to host or be hosted, all are welcome. You do not need to be a member or current participant to take part.
How It Works
Fill out a short form (2–3 minutes) indicating whether you’d like to host or be hosted for a Shabbat dinner. Dinners will take place on Shabbatot between May 1 and June 26, 2025. Once you’ve signed up, we’ll match you with Shabbat dinner partners and connect you with each other to find a date that works for everyone.
